Don’t Cheat on Australian Women

Published by wbaugust at 7:27 am under revenge Edit This

While this may not be “current” events, as this incident occurred on December 8, 2008, this is only making the international news today.  An Australian woman set fire to her husband’s genitals because she thought he was having an affair.  The fire spread when the man jumped from his bed and knocked over a bottle of spirits.  The result?  About $ 700,000 in damages to the property and the neighbor’s property.  Maybe the title should be changed to “Don’t Cheat on Australian Women or Live Next to Someone Who Does”.

I suppose December 8 is recent enough to be considered current, but infidelity and revenge have been going on since man first learned that a stick can be inserted into just about anything.  While cheating is fairly straightforward, revenge has become increasingly more creative, from Herpes singing telegrams being sent to someone’s office (see RevengeLady.com) to Lorena Bobbitt’s kitchen knife action.  Considering John Bobbitt’s future in the adult film industry, I wonder if that could be thought of as a small bit (pun intended) to sacrifice to acquire a whole lot of fame and money.

I can safely say I have not been on the receiving end of anyone’s wrath but I have heard about some nasty revenge tactics.  Now it’s your turn.  If you know someone or have been directly involved in getting back at an “injustice” please let us know.  There’s no prize for the winner but we’ll all probably get a good laugh.  Oh, and since you should vent about it, tell us why this revenge is justified.

Hahaha, real funny stuff. Great writing about such a touchy subject (pun intended).

Nice punback, ndefence. Revenge stories are usually immediately interesting and most of the time funny.

If you can think of any, please let me know or post them here.
